160x100 Graphic COG LCD STN Gray No Backlight and Selectable I2C, SPI or Parallel Interface
The NHD-C160100AZ-RN-GBW is just what you need in a compact display to present monochrome graphics without the need of a backlight. With a 160x100 pixel resolution, this COG display is STN+ Gray, has no backlight for a slimmer profile, and is reflective for clear readability in bright ambient light. The 6:00 optimal viewing angle provides optimal visibility from below. This new Rev1A model includes a ST75160 controller and support for 8-bit 6800 Parallel, 3-wire SPI, 4-wire SPI, and I2C interface modes which are selectable. It also has a 20-pin FFC connection makes integration with Arduino and similar development boards quick.
This display is a chip-on-glass design, which allows you more flexibility in incorporating it into your design because it is not bonded to a PCB. It runs on low 3.0V power for more efficient applications. It operates between -20° and 70° C, making it dependable in extreme conditions, and it is RoHS compliant for environmental safety.
