5" HDMI capacitive touch IPS TFT display with bright sunlight readability and convenient built-in mounting
This 5.0-inch IPS TFT display features crisp 800x480 resolution, full viewing angles, and a vibrant 900-nit backlight that makes content clearly visible even in direct sunlight. Built on a custom PCB designed in the USA, the module includes an upgraded FPC with EMI shielding for reduced signal interference and reliable performance.
Equipped with a capacitive touchscreen and durable cover glass, this module connects easily to your system using USB. It uses HID protocol, allowing Windows to automatically recognize and configure it without needing driver installation.
Ideal for embedded systems, this display is powered by a Texas Instruments TFP401A HDMI/DVI receiver and high-brightness LED driver with PWM control. It pairs well with Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, or other HDMI sources, and is also suitable for touchscreen HMIs. For installation, the built-in mounting holes allow for direct attachment to your enclosure or panel. All of our displays are RoHS compliant and meet rigorous environmental and safety standards.
Using your own cover glass or overlay with our capacitive touchscreen displays? Talk to our engineering team about having us calibrate the touchscreen's sensitivity to maintain optimal performance. We can also work with you to customize and install cover glass so you don't have to.
