The NHD-0216K1Z-FSW-FBW-L is a bright solution with high contrast text in this monochrome character display. This LCD module is an FSTN positive (+) transflective display with a white backlight for clarity in any lighting environment. Its 6:00 viewing angle provides optimal visibility from below. The built-in ST7066U controller, Parallel interface, and 1x16 thru hole connection with 2.54mm Pitch makes integration with Arduino and similar development boards easy.

Excellent quality
This display is well made with good contrast and brightness. It does not have header pins if you want to solder wires directly to it but I like that there is an option to buy it with the pins soldered. Ordered a couple this way and very pleased with the product.
