The Newhaven 16x2 LCD display is a transflective FSTN positive Liquid Crystal Display that shows up to 32 characters as two rows, each with 16 characters of dark pixels on a bright blue background. It includes a side blue backlight, making it visible with the backlight on or with ambient light while offering an optimal 6:00 view.
The NHD-0216KZ-FSB-FBW display has a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, an ST7066U controller, operates at 5V supply voltage, and is RoHS compliant making it ideal for applications such as industrial automation, medical devices, point-of-sale systems, consumer electronics, DIY projects, Arduino projects, and all applications requiring a small screen that comes with a backlight for environment with low lighting conditions.
