
New 2.4” and 2.8” TFT Breakout Modules

Announcing our first TFT Breakout Modules - with 2.4” or 2.8” displays in capacitive touch, resistive touch, or non-touch options. These TFT Breakout Modules make the development process more approachable while expanding the capabilities of the integrated 2.4-inch and 2.8-inch IPS TFT displays. By adding a built-in backlight driver for simplified wiring, a microSD card slot for expanded storage, and versatile logic level shifting for 3.3 or 5V operation, these development boards are built to streamline prototyping and provide a complete display interfacing solution. They also feature on-board parallel/SPI interface selection jumpers that can free up connector I/O pins, EMI shielding for added resilience, and mounting holes for easy installation.
The integrated displays share a 240x320 pixel resolution while offering an array of brightness and touchscreen options. The CTXP displays are great for indoor or darker environments, whereas the CSXPs are sunlight readable and can be easily seen in bright or outdoor settings. The displays come with either a capacitive touchscreen for more advanced inputs, a resistive touchscreen for simple control, or no touchscreen for information-only readouts. The touchscreen types are denoted in the model number by a “C” or “R” after the display size, indicating capacitive or resistive, respectively.
