It works!
For a new project, I ordered a total of 10 each NHD-0216HZ-FSW-FBW-33V3C. I mounted the NH displays onto my custom designed PCBs that interfaces then with the popular I2C interface and makes them compatible with open source software for RGB LCDs as well as plain white LCDs. I'll send photos to NewHaven Display.
