Newhaven 2x16 LCD display shows up to 32 characters as two rows each with sixteen characters of bright pixels on a black background when powered on. This RGB display includes three backlight colors built into each display, which enables you to choose from a red, green or a blue backlight color. You can also mix the intensities of those colors to create new custom colors. This transmissive FSTN negative Liquid Crystal Display requires a backlight for visibility while offering an optimal 6:00 view. This NHD-0216K3Z-NS(RGB)-FBW-V3 serial interface display is fully compatible with Arduino, making it a convenient choice for DIY electronics projects and educational purposes. It also has a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, a PIC 16F690 controller, operates at 5V supply voltage, and is RoHS compliant.
