Our custom solution capabilities include cable and connector customizations, touchscreen and cover glass add-ons, interface customizations, PCB modifications, mounting hardware, custom backlights, and keypads.

Yes, we can add a capacitive or resistive touchscreen to our displays.

All Newhaven Display facilities are ISO certified. Our facility certifications include ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and TS-16949. All of our products are RoHS compliant, REACH compliant, and conflict free. Specific quality testing procedures are listed at https://newhavendisplay.com/quality/.

A minimum order quantity requirement will apply for the majority of our custom solutions. The MOQ depends on the complexity of the project. We will advise the MOQ requirement after receiving your project details.

Yes, we can perform cover glass customizations. The cover glass can be bonded using VHB tape or with optically clear adhesive (OCA).

Yes, we offer customized options such as adding EMI filters within the circuit design, adding EMI shielding to the FPC cable and adding an ITO-based EMI shield in front of the display. Please email [email protected] to discuss your requirements.

Yes, we can add your company logo. Please send logo artwork to [email protected].

We can supply display enclosures, but we do not certify our products for IP-ratings.

Yes, most of our displays can have foam or rubber gasket added.

Yes, we can modify the length, width, and pitch of the FPC/FFC.

Yes, we can extend the touchscreen or cover glass beyond the dimensions of the display. Please send a 3D drawing with your required dimensions to [email protected].

We cannot add a cover glass in front of a resistive touchscreen since a resistive touch panel must be pressed for a touch event. Adding a cover glass in front of a resistive touchscreen would prevent the touch panel from being pressed.

Our standard capacitive touchscreen displays already have an integrated 0.7mm thick chemically strengthened cover glass. We can provide thicker cover glass customizations upon request.

Yes, it is possible to change the connectors, but this may require a PCB redesign.

Yes, it is possible to have mounting flanges on different locations on the mounting bracket as a custom solution.

We do not sell the mounting bracket by itself. You would need to purchase the display with the mounting bracket attached.

Yes, we can customize the display with a heater panel and use higher grade materials to achieve a wider temperature range.

The capacitive touch panel sensitivity is configured during our manufacturing process. If sensitivity modification is required for an application, this must be done during manufacturing as a custom part.

Depending on the display model, we can configure the module to have power over USB.

We typically recommend keeping the cable length no longer than 6 inches to reduce risk of RFI/EMI on signal integrity.

Yes, we can provide the display with optical bonding. Our NHD-4.3-800480EZ-ASXP-CTP is a standard off-the-shelf display with an optically bonded capacitive touchscreen.
