Job Description

Newhaven Display is looking for an Inside Sales Manager with a passion for sales and building relationships. This person will be responsible for growing and servicing our international clients as well as providing strategic direction and thought leadership for our Account Managers. The Inside Sales Manager will expand sales by managing the sales funnel and driving marketing efforts. This person will build team unity and cohesiveness by showing an enthusiastic attitude, having an open-door policy, daily “how are things going” conversations with every team member, and promoting a “team first” department.


Responsibilities

  • Sales for Newhaven Display International worldwide. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the inside sales team.
  • Quoting, communication and sales for all International and select accounts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, materials management, customer service, accounting, and all necessary departments during the sales cycle.
  • Review all quotes daily as submitted by sales team to their customer base for accuracy.
  • Review each quoted customer’s credit history daily and advise Account Manager and Accounting Manager of slow pay trends.
  • Review all previous day sales each morning for any noticeable discrepancies.
  • Bi-Monthly “check-ins” or mini reviews with Account Managers.
  • On-going training and onboarding.
  • Assist Account Managers with planning and development strategies as well as reaching their target goals.
  • Sales forecasting for purchasing and accounting.
  • Analyze sales trends and marketplace developments (competitors, key industries, and penetrable markets).
  • Keep the President informed of department goal progress.
  • Minimal travel to key accounts with Account Managers and Distribution Account Specialist if needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related degree.
  • 3+ years of experience as Sales Manager.
  • Must be willing to work onsite, in our office. This is not a remote position.
  • Demonstrated strategic vision, passion for the business, results oriented & desire for professional development.
  • Solid business acumen; fact-based decision making and management style.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be proactive in identifying issues and recommending solutions.
  • Solid strategic and analytical skills; extensive knowledge of financials, pricing, and P&L impact of sales decisions.
  • Ability to travel (minimal) as required to support assigned accounts and markets.
  • Promotes creativity and informed risk-taking, strives for technical and market leadership.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve important goals, sets priorities, seizes opportunities.
  • Self-Motivated, entrepreneurial business style.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using NetSuite and or BigCommerce is a plus.
  • Experience working face to face and directly with customers via phone or email to resolve issues.
  • Experience with LCD, VFD, OLED or TFT display technologies is a plus.
