Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual with a love for sales, excellent research and follow-up skills, and a strong desire to exceed targets. The successful candidate will be someone who drives sales growth by researching and proactively reaching out to leads, prospects, and previous customers. The Inside Sales Coordinator will have outstanding organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong desire to learn and grow in a sales environment. Training is provided.


Responsibilities

The primary responsibility is to reach out to leads, prospects and prior customers to generate business and update our ERP System (NetSuite). Additionally, the Inside Sales Coordinator will provide support to the sales team as needed to increase sales. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Research provided leads to understand the customers’ business, their needs, if they have used in the past or are currently using our products or other displays, and if so, what products.
  • Create customized communications to engage the customer into further discussions based on your research.
  • Qualify the leads and update our database, adding or removing contacts, updating status, and entering any other pertinent information.
  • Provide qualified leads to our sales manager so a sales team member can contact the customer.
  • Follow up on web orders:
    • Research the customer to understand the company’s business and categorize their industry in our ERP appropriately.
    • Reach out to the customer via email to ensure they are satisfied and to determine if there is future business to be gained.
    • Update our ERP system and forward to sales manager as appropriate.
  • Manage and maintain customer information and activity in our ERP system to ensure accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Meet or exceed weekly target of activity as set by the sales manager. Track and report on activities and results.
  • Provide additional support to our sales team as needed, which may or may not include administrative tasks such as preparing quotes or proposals and other general support.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a lead generation or sales support role
  • Exceptional research and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and extremely detail oriented
  • The ability to think independently and determine the appropriate course of action
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, internet and email (Outlook)
  • A competitive, goal-oriented mindset
  • Fearless attitude with a hunger for success
  • NetSuite is a plus
