Electronics Support Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician who will provide electronic display hardware and software support to our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electronic components, exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, and a desire to help customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and engineers to understand customer display needs and assist in finding solutions that meet their requirements.
- Troubleshoot problems with electronic display hardware & software and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, including answering questions and providing guidance via email, phone, or in-person.
- Prepare technical resources, including user drawings, schematics, product tutorials, manuals, datasheets, application notes, and demonstration kits.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering irons, to test and repair electronic displays and components.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in electronics technology.
- Assist Marketing, Distribution & Sales teams with product training and technical questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Primary
- Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
- C++, C or similar software programming skills.
- Understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers (PIC, ATMEL, ARM, etc.) and peripherals (I²C, SPI, USB, GPIO, SD Card, etc.).
- Understanding of electronics theory.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and self-discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Secondary
- Ability to read electronic schematics.
- Ability to build prototype designs (soldering, breadboard circuits, etc.).
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot Printed Circuit Boards and electronic systems.
- Experience with display technology is a plus.
