This LCD TFT display module has a resolution of 800x480 and offers high contrast images with improved MVA viewing angles of up to 70 degrees from any direction. It has a 24-bit true color Liquid Crystal Display with a configurable LED driver that uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and an on-board FTDI FT813 Embedded Video Engine (EVE). Also included is a high brightness LED backlight with 660 nits for enhanced visibility for outdoor environments. While this transmissive LCD boasts impressive quality with a 3.3 voltage power supply, it also includes a 10-point multi-touch capacitive touch panel, making it an excellent choice for projects that desire high-end visual output with multi-touch functionality. The PCAP touchscreen with built-in I2C interface and cover glass will allow users to perform various gestures and interact more intuitively with its precise touch recognition and enhanced responsiveness for interactive applications.
7" Capacitive Touch TFT LCD Module Powered by EVE and SPI Interface
Newhaven Display's 7.0" EVE TFT is powered by an FTDI / Bridgetek graphics engine that provides built-in graphics operations, scalable fonts, embedded widgets, and a 1MB graphics memory. Portrait and landscape modes are supported, as well as multiple image formats and video playback. The built-in widgets include everything from buttons and sliders to gauges and clocks, making for a complete interactive interface right out of the box. We designed the EVE TFTs to work with Serial SPI communication, which enables low-cost MCUs to be used as the system host, making this display both powerful and affordable.
7 inch TFT VA LCD Module Compatible with Arduino
The EVE TFT module is built with a feature-rich controller that offers an all-in-one solution for managing graphics, audio and touch. No extra casing is required to mount this TFT either, just use the four built-in mounting holes with any standard M3 screws. Connect this module with the NHD-FT81X-SHIELD Arduino Shield (sold separately) for quick and seamless setup with Arduino development boards. The EVE TFT module is the leading-edge solution for HMI displays in any application. Our displays are all RoHS compliant and adhere to strict environmental and safety standards.
