The 16 character, 2 lines LCD display shows red pixels on a black background. This transmissive LCD Display uses the added backlight to offer excellent visibility under low-light conditions. It operates with a 5V supply voltage, 4-bit or 8-bit parallel communication, and a built-in ST7066U controller. This NHD-0216K1Z-NSR-FBW-L display has an optimal view of 6:00 and has a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
This LCD comes with connecting pins on top and bottom to facilitate the design and offers compatibility with Arduino and other popular boards.
