This Newhaven 128x64 graphic Chip-On-Glass (COG) Liquid Crystal Display module shows dark black pixels illuminated on a bright white background. This transflective LCD display is engineered to provide optimal visibility under a wide range of lighting conditions in multiple different environments. In bright sunlight, the display uses its reflective layer to reflect ambient light back to the viewer, making the screen easy to read. In darker settings, a strong backlight is built into the LCD to provide high contrast and display clear graphics to the viewer. This advanced display technology ensures the display is always easy to read, regardless of the lighting conditions.

Designed to withstand extreme operating conditions, the NHD-C12864A1Z-FSW-FBW-HTT model it comes equipped with a 12V heater and temperature compensation circuit built into the display. This allows the display to operate exceptionally well when used within a wide temperature range from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius. It’s also fully compatible with Arduino, which allows for seamless connection with other electronic systems for a wide range of applications. The optimal viewing angle for this LCD is 6:00, it operates at 3V supply voltage, and it’s RoHS compliant.

    Datasheet is not very clear about controller interface/instructions, it is just copy and paste from LCD controller datasheet. This makes it confusing for beginners with graphic LCD.
