New 1.5" and 4.0" Square TFT Displays

Eight new IPS TFT LCDs in square-format ranging from 240×240 to 480×480 pixel resolution.
These new displays mark the first square TFT LCDs in Newhaven Display’s product line, available in 1.5-inch and 4.0-inch diagonal sizes. Their perfectly symmetrical design offers a modern visual aesthetic while providing engineers with a versatile form factor ideal for compact interfaces, wearables, control systems, and next-generation product designs. Built with advanced IPS technology, each display delivers ultra-wide viewing angles, vivid picture, accurate color reproduction, and high brightness for excellent readability in any lighting environment.
The 1.5” TFT model features a crisp 240×240 pixel resolution, average backlight brightness of 1200 nits, and optional 4-wire resistive touchscreen. It also supports both SPI and Parallel interfaces for flexible integration.
The 4.0” models offer a sharp 480×480 pixel resolution, average brightness of 1000 nits, and 4-wire resistive or capacitive multi-touch screens with I2C interface. They are available with either 24-bit Parallel RGB or 2-lane MIPI DSI interfaces for high-speed, stable graphics performance, and all models come equipped with built-in EMI shielding to ensure reliable operation in demanding environments.
Designed for durability and versatility, these square TFTs are well-suited for medical, industrial, manufacturing, consumer electronics, and aviation applications.
