Newhaven 2x16 character LCD shows dark pixels on a bright red background. This transflective LCD is visible in any lighting condition thanks to its ability to reflect ambient light in bright conditions and use a LED backlight in low-light conditions. It operates in a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius and a 5V supply voltage which makes it compatible with many of the popular development boards, including Arduino.
This 16 character, 2 rows, NHD-0216K1Z-FSR-FBW-L Newhaven display has an optimal view of 6:00 and comes with connecting pins on top and bottom to facilitate product design. I was looking for a way to expand my 16x2 lcd to add fixed info and this product more than doubled my existing capacitiy as a dropin replacement. display is very bright and easy to adjust. good documentation.
