This character LCD has 20 characters each on 4 rows and will show blue pixels on a blue background when the blue backlight is powered on. It can display up to 80 characters at once without scrolling or changing text, which makes it ideal for applications requiring long strings of text or long messages. This transflective display has an optimal view of 6:00 and is visible with ambient light or in bright light environments with the use of the backlight.
This 20x4 LCD display has a built-in ST7066U controller and communicates via 4-bit/8-bit parallel interface that guarantees compatibility with a range of interfaces and development boards, including Arduino. This monochrome LCD module operates with a power supply of 5V and offers a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
