Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their returns, analyzing those returns, and helping our teams to improve for the future. You’ll also learn how we certify our products to industry standards and provide those statements to customers as may be requested. Responsibilities

• Assisting with customer returns
  • Log customer data, log our failure analysis findings, and arrange for repairs or replacements.
• Basic Analysis and Testing
  • Learn basics of display technologies, common defects, and repairs.
  • Perform basic testing using voltmeters and custom test fixtures.
  • Share repair reports with customers.
  • Share repair findings with in-house assembly team as may be needed.
• Assisting team to provide customer certifications
  • Log certification data from our suppliers.
  • Then certify our products based on the bill of material and our supplier’s data.
• Data Gathering and Reporting
  • Regularly collect defect data and run automated reports.
  • Update master files for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Learn to process and prepare quarterly supplier scorecards.
• Other Assistance
  • Occasionally assist with material sorting as may be needed.
  • Assist with periodic equipment calibration needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or related Technician experience preferred.
• Experience with electronics is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is useful.
• Proficient in basic math and PC MS Office skills.
• Strong Analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail and patience.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt.
