Job Description

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to create engaging content for ads, social media, videos, and other content to reinforce our brand. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills to understand our competitive landscape, as well as the ability to create campaigns to maintain our leading position in the market.

In addition to these technical skills, we are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated, who can bring energy and creativity into a marketing mindset and can work well within a small team. The right person will think outside the box when it comes to creating engaging content that appeals to an audience composed of engineers, engineering students, and hobbyists.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and create a range of digital content, including paid ads (Google and Social Media Ads.), as well as organic content for newsletters, videos, and social media posts.
  • Analyze and measure the performance of digital content to optimize and improve effectiveness.
  • Manage social media channels including scheduling posts, tracking analytics, replying to messages, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement content strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Utilize Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager to measure campaign performance.
  • Create and present easy to understand reports measuring performance.
  • Understand and recommend budgets for campaigns based on Marketing Data Analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that content is effective and aligns with the brand.
  • Manage and execute multiple projects at once.
  • Work on-site to utilize resources and products for accuracy and technical support.
  • Other marketing projects as assigned.

Requirements

Primary

  • 2+ years of experience in SEM creating digital content and managing paid advertising campaigns.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio with a range of digital content; including paid advertising, report graphics/analysis, writing samples, and graphics or videos used for newsletters or social media.
  • Proficiency of Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager is a must.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or other editing software.
  • Experience with social media platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.

Secondary

  • Background working in a technical industry, manufacturing business, or in-house marketing team setting.
  • SEO and basic HTML experience.
  • Experience with eCommerce (Google Merchant Center, Bigcommerce, Klaviyo or similar).
  • Experience as an influencer reviewing technical products.
