This premium 5.0” EVE2 TFT module has a high resolution of 800x480 pixels and is built with a feature-rich controller that offers an all-in-one solution for managing graphics, touch, and audio. Also included is a high brightness LED backlight with 527 cd/m2 luminance. The display offers stunning sharpness in viewing angles up to 70° due to the multi-domain vertical alignment (MVA) technology in this LCD display. While this transmissive LCD boasts high quality with a 3.3 voltage power supply, it also includes a capacitive touch panel, making it an excellent choice for projects that desire high-end visual output with multi-touch functionality. The PCAP touchscreen with built-in I2C interface will allow users to perform various gestures and interact more intuitively with its precise touch recognition and enhanced responsiveness for interactive applications.

This TFT Module is powered by the FTDI / Bridgetek FT813 Embedded Video Engine (EVE2) to bring you built-in graphics operations, embedded widgets, 1MB graphics memory and more. It has a configurable LED driver with PWM and supports portrait or landscape modes, as well as multiple image formats and video playback. This Human Machine Interface (HMI) display comes fully equipped with capacitive touch integration. We designed the EVE2 TFTs to work with Serial SPI communication allowing for the use of low-cost MCUs as the system host, making this display both powerful and affordable. The built-in widgets include everything from buttons and sliders to gauges and clocks, making for a complete interactive interface right out of the box. No extra casing is required to mount this TFT either, just use the built-in mounting holes. Connect this module with the NHD-FT81X-SHIELD Arduino Shield (sold separately) for quick and easy setup with Arduino development boards. Our displays are all RoHS compliant and adhere to strict environmental and safety standards.
