This character LCD is 20 characters on 4 rows and will show dark pixels on a bright yellow/green background while the yellow-green backlight is powered on. With the backlight off, this display shows blue characters on a gray background due to the STN positive gray display technology. This transflective LCD Display has an optimal view of 6:00 and is visible with ambient light or in bright light environments with the use of the yellow/green LED backlight. It operates with a 5V supply voltage and withstands a wide temperature range, operating in temps as low as -20°C and up to 70°C.

    Hard to beat these little LCD modules for displays with Arduino projects. They do exactly what they are supposed to. I found some example code in the support center thanks!
