This 3.5” IPS TFT LCD display has a high-resolution of 640x480 pixels and built-in EMI shielding. This TFT includes a high brightness LED backlight with 810 nits. This display offers stunning sharpness, superior color reproduction, better image consistency, and high contrast with full viewing angles due to the IPS technology built into this Liquid Crystal Display. The super bright backlight allows this TFT to be sunlight readable in bright conditions including direct sun.
While this transmissive LCD boasts impressive quality with a 3.0V power supply, it also includes a capacitive touch panel, making it an excellent choice for projects that desire high-end visual output with 10-point multi-touch functionality. The Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touchscreen with built-in I2C interface, cover glass, and FocalTech FT5426 controller, will allow users to perform various gestures and interact more intuitively with its precise touch recognition and enhanced responsiveness for interactive applications. The display, powered by a built-in FL7703NI driver IC and compatible with Raspberry Pi, delivers exceptional performance and reliability. This TFT LCD features 4-lane MIPI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface) DSI (Display Serial Interface). With 4 data lanes, it can transmit data at a significantly higher rate compared to versions with fewer lanes. The increased data throughput of the 4-lane MIPI DSI allow it to support displays with very high resolutions and higher refresh rates, resulting in smoother animations, deeper color depths, and improved user experiences, especially in gaming and multimedia applications. 4-lane MIPI DSI also reduces the need for data compression and improves multitasking capabilities in devices. MIPI interfaces are designed to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI), which can be crucial in medical applications or wireless communication systems.
