This 16x2 LCD character Chip-On-Glass (COG) shows up to 32 characters as two rows each with sixteen characters of dark pixels on a gray background. This reflective FSTN positive Liquid Crystal Display does not have a backlight so it requires high ambient light for visibility. As a COG display, there's no PCB and the controller/driver is directly bonded to the glass of the display. This NHD-C0216CiZ-FN-FBW-3V display with AiP31032 controller has a 6:00 optimal view, I2C interface, operates at 3.0V supply voltage, offers a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius, and is RoHS compliant.
