This character LCD has 20 characters on 2 rows and will show blue pixels on a gray background due to its STN positive gray display technology when powered on or off. It can be viewed with ambient light or in low light environments with the use of the side white LED backlight. It offers a wide operating temperature range from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.

This dual line transflective LCD display has a built-in ST7066U controller and communicates via 4-bit/8-bit parallel interface that guarantees compatibility with a range of interfaces and development boards, including Arduino. This monochrome LCD operates with a power supply of 3.3V. It also comes with a pre-soldered pin header and includes connecting pins on the opposite end for easy design.
