We designed this BeagleBone cape in Elgin, IL to be a perfect fit with our 7.0" IPS TFT display and upgraded it with EMI shielding and the NHD-7.0-800480AF-ASXP-CTP display model. With a 10-point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, cover glass, 850 nits brightness, and 800x480 resolution, this cape will be quick to impress and work seamlessly while developing with operating systems like Android and Linux. It includes an on-board dip switch for configuring EEPROM and secondary headers for additional cape connections. In addition to the secondary cape slot, we added four 3.5mm mounting holes that are compatible with standard M3 screws, a reset button, write protection pins, PWM backlight control, and an LED power indicator. With this 7" LCD cape we’ve made it easy to take your design process from concept to reality. When paired with the BeagleBone Black board (sold separately by beagleboard.org) you'll have everything you need to plug-in and start developing.
